The Teacher I Never Got to Thank | Alani Bankhead

Original air date: February 23, 2026 Alani Bankhead on the teacher who changed her life, and why Montana educators deserve a living wage. I never got to tell my favorite #teacher the impact he had on me I looked for years but couldn’t find him Which is why I make it a point to show my #gratitude to every educator I meet how important their work is It breaks my heart that Montana’s educators aren’t being paid their value Because you can’t put a price on the impact they have Educators deserve to be paid a living wage Montana ranks last in the nation for starting teacher pay (NEA, 2024-25) If we want our kids to have the quality education they deserve, we must support the people who choose this line of work And if you’re willing, please contribute to the campaign to help us get to DC and fight for every Montanan’s right to a high quality education More: https://alaniformt.com/youth Volunteer: https://alaniformt.com/get-involved Donate: https://alaniformt.com/donate #Montana #MTSen #AlaniBankhead Paid for by Friends of Alani Bankhead.
